From the porch, one enters this stately Charleston double house through an impressive foyer, which features an open-railed staircase leading up to a triple clerestory window. The light that shines from this spectacular window will illuminate the great room and match in size the triple window which is the focal point of the apposing dining room.
The foyer also leads to a cheerful keeping room, warmed by a fireplace. The centrally located kitchen keeps the family cook in the midst of family life. A computer/office area has been placed near this center of family activity.
Ashley River is a double house design with an open central hallway that leads to a secluded first floor master suite. This large bedroom has two walk-in closets and a luxurious bath with an oversized tub, shower, double vanities, and a compartmentalized toilet area.
